I think Kinja should be classified as a "Mass Murder" or "Serial Killer" of images.
EDIT: Fixed now!

Looks like there's some rust repair needed, I don't know what they typically go for, but I think my Montego has less body/exterior rust and I paid 2500 for it. With a running driving 302.
It's a cool trucklet though, i would just expect a little more from the rust management for that cash level

I am not a fan of what appears to be undercarriage rot and a spray bomb engine rebuild (aka wash and paint). That also does not appear to be the original motor.

I like them, but unless it was cheaper I wouldn't bother with that one due to the (typical) rust. The engine has been painted, so the engine/trans may not be original since they would have to take it out to paint it nicely. It is also missing the GM "Mark of Excellence" stickers on the door sill; a sign that it has been repainted although I didn't see any symptoms of bondo in the pictures. It also has slotted mags, which are never the correct backspacing (they all came with the same backspace regardless of width if they are vintage,) so the tires probably are not a good fit.

Too much money. My grandpa bought one 3 months ago for 3k and it was a frame of resto. The frame was all powder coated, new everything. Body had most of the rust already repaired. Just a few little areas to to fix. They are great car/trucks. 65 is not my favorite year. All el caminos rust in the wheelwells and at the bottom of the rear window. Most parts are available but some metal is non existant. From mid door forward is all Chevelle so lots of easy parts there. The back half is more unique.

Everyone on Oppo likes every year of El Camino's. It's the law.
You're not allowed to be on Oppo if you don't like utes.
As far as that specific one it might not be a good deal.
But El Camino's still rule.
